The Observatoire de la Finance was a Partner of Building Bridges, wich took place in Geneva from November 29 to December 2 2021. For this occasion, we organized a Round Table on Can sustainable finance break the tragedy of horizons?.
The “Tragedy of Horizons” refers to a mismatch between the short-term horizon of investment reporting and commitments and the long-term horizon of climatic challenges. Unless overcome, this tragedy has the potential to block the virtuous dynamic of sustainable finance. This session explores how to tackle it by private and public means.
